| That is fake, there was a point where I saw a line off in the water under him, it's an easy trick to do, and if you'll notice he took one path, and one path only, which if you wanted to impress people a lot, you'd walk in zig-zags or something random(at least I would). |

The reasons why this is fake:
1: He only went 1 path across the water
2: his feet sank into the water, not walking on the top
3: while people were shown to swim under the path he was walking, noone ever swam on the surface of his path
4: after he took his shoes off, you can see the bottom of his pants legs compressing under his feet against whatever he is walking on (a wire, a clear plastic platform, whatever) |

While it is truly fake, your reasons 2 and 4 aren't really substancial enough in my opinion.

Maybe it was water that it was compressing under. |

| You guys are stupid. It's magic, it's meant to be entertainment, that's why they do it for a living, to amaze and entertain people. You should have enough of a grasp on reality to understand what they are doing and not get all bent out of shape just because it's fake. Even card tricks are fake, people, but that doesn't excuse the fact that the things he and other illusionists do, entertain millions of people and that's why its fun. |

Typical of cris angel tricks, there is an absolutly EXCESIVE ammount of camera angle changes. This is meant to give you more awe and less time to figure it out. The clear plastic platform with same refractive index as chlorinated water was moved arround. After paying off the abnormally large crowd which happens to just be chilling arround an abnormally crowded swimming pool (honestly, how many people swim in hotel swimming pools, and how many people fully clothed jsut stand arround?) the budget couldn't afford a full platform. Cut scenes help delete the crew coming in and moving the platform.
I am far more "entertained" by continuous footage magic tricks ... and I have seen rather impresive ones. If I see a cut scene, I loose all belief. Some performers know this, and will either film with only one camera, or provide a zoomed out "picture in picture" in the corner. |

There were several actors. The lady "while still whole" was casted to look like a woman who was born with no lower half (they really do exist, they usually end up in circuses). The really hard yanker was an actor ... nice excesive dramatic effect there pulling 4 feet at a force that would possibly break a post-menapasual woman's shoulders or elbows (not to mention the half woman was pulling up too as opposed to laying and relaxing ... a practice run probably had the yanker droping the half woman on the concrete). The skirt and legs are lifted off screen by someone. Moving toes can be purchased in any high end magic suplies store. When the heels move, that is a real person standing. The half woman goes crawling away with a very nice upper body strength away from people who could help, but luckily a camera dude is there to catch the "unexpected" crawling with a camera near ground level. |

This is what I like. It is just simple card tricks with making cards appear and disappear and just pop out of the deck. There are some fancy finger movements going on and possibly thin cards and locking cards, but this is still good stuff! No camera cuts (well, the post production did some cuts, but I am ignoring that ... each individual trick is done cut less). No awe or shock like cris angel, mr mind freak.
